Colorado Job's Daughters

The HIKE Fund Inc.

The HIKE Fund is the philanthropic project of Job’s Daughters International!

The HIKE Fund Inc. is a non-profit charity incorporated under the laws of the state of Nebraska and registered with the Internal Revenue Service as a tax exempt charity. It is administered by a Board of Directors composed of individuals in the fields of audiology, business, education, labor, law and medicine. The HIKE Fund Inc. has awarded many types of devices for the hearing impaired including: Hearing Aids, FM Systems, Closed Caption Converters, Tactile Units, Alerting Systems, and Specialized Sports Equipment.

Through HIKE, Job’s Daughters International has embraced the needs of hearing impaired children. The HIKE Fund, Inc. has provided children with hearing assistive devices since 1986.

Every child deserves the chance to hear and we are here to help! It is our joy to provide hearing devices for children with hearing losses between the ages of newborn and twenty years whose parents are unable to meet this special need financially.

Because of generous donations totaling more than $5 MILLION dollars since 1985, we have given over 2,500 children a grant to support their needs for hearing. The HIKE Fund, Inc. was created by Emma Tedrick and Charles Terrill as the philanthropic project of Job’s Daughters International, a girls leadership organization, to give the members a specific and unique charity to which they were able to devote their energies.
